Nastassja Kinski and the Serpent

It was 1981 and the future seemed so bright, but the temptation of consumer decadence was right there in our faces, slinking across our Eve on the pages of Vogue.  Little did we know at what price our loss of innocence would come, and now that Paradise has fallen, Christie’s is pawning our lost idealism for $50,000 to $70,000 USD, minimum.  These days, only the privileged 1% can afford to hang an original Avedon gelatin silver print of Nastassja Kinski and the Serpent on the wall of their Central Park East apartment.  A reminder of a time before the Fall.
